Artificial Intelligence

Where we are investing, what we think AI is genuinely good for in real business operations, and what we are not going to pretend about.

What this covers

Artificial intelligence is the most oversold term in enterprise technology right now, so let us be direct about what this page is. AI is an area TecFlax is investing in and building capability toward. It is not yet a service line with a delivery track record behind it, and we would rather say that than sell you something we cannot yet stand behind.

Where we think it will matter first is in operations, because that is where we already work. The systems we run produce enormous volumes of logs, metrics and support tickets, and most of that data is only ever read after something has already gone wrong. Applying AI to that existing data is a far more grounded starting point than a general purpose chatbot.

The three applications we are working toward are assisted technical support, where an engineer gets a suggested diagnosis drawn from previous incidents; document processing, where invoices, forms and records are read and routed automatically; and anomaly detection, which sits naturally alongside the monitoring work we already do.

What we will not do is put customer or citizen data into a third party model without a clear, written understanding of where that data goes and who can see it. In a market with real data protection obligations, that question comes before the technology, not after it.

Where we are today

  • Assisted technical support drawing on your own incident history
  • Document and form processing for high volume back office work
  • Anomaly detection layered onto existing monitoring
  • Honest scoping of what current models can and cannot do
  • Data governance decided before any model is chosen
  • Pilot first, at a scale where being wrong is survivable
If you have a specific problem you think AI might solve, we would genuinely like to hear it. A real problem from a real business is worth more to us than another generic pilot, and we will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit.
