What this covers

A backup nobody has restored from is not a backup, it is a hope. The failure is almost never the copy; it is discovering during an incident that the copy was incomplete, or encrypted with a key nobody kept, or that restoring it takes eleven hours when the business needed two.

We implement offsite and cloud backup across the full range: centralised, on-site and remote backup, disk-based backup, virtual machine backup on VMware and Veeam, backup security, and remote backup for company laptops. Tape archiving remains available where retention rules call for it.

The part we insist on is testing. Restores are rehearsed on a schedule, against real data, and we agree your recovery time and recovery point objectives up front so that the plan is measured against something rather than against optimism.
