WebTitan web security
DNS-layer filtering that blocks malicious and unwanted sites before a connection is made, for staff in the office and out of it.
What this covers
WebTitan filters at the DNS layer. When a device tries to resolve a domain, WebTitan decides whether that domain should be reachable at all, so a malicious or blocked site is stopped before any connection is established. That is upstream of the firewall, upstream of the browser, and it works the same whether the user is at their desk or on a hotel network.
It does two jobs at once: security filtering against malware, phishing and command-and-control domains, and content filtering for the categories your policy does not permit at work. Both are managed from the same place, with policy that can differ by user group rather than applying one blunt rule to everyone.
Because it protects roaming users, it covers the gap that most organisations discover the hard way: a laptop is protected by the corporate firewall exactly until it leaves the building, which for most staff is most of the time.
