Cloud Solutions

Business software, security and infrastructure run for you in the cloud, on your own servers, or across both. You choose where your data lives, and we will tell you honestly which option actually suits you.

Where it runs

Three deployment models, one honest conversation

Nearly everything on this page runs either way. The right answer depends on your data governance obligations, what you already own, and what you can realistically operate. That is a conversation, not a product choice.

Public cloud

We deploy and run your workloads on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine or DigitalOcean, sized to what you actually use rather than to a sales target.

Fastest to stand up, no hardware to buy, and capacity that moves with demand. The trade-off is that your data sits with a foreign provider, which matters if you carry data residency obligations.

Private cloud

An OpenStack private cloud on your own hardware, in your own building or your own colocation rack. You get cloud-style provisioning without the data leaving your control.

More work to build and to run, and the capacity is whatever you bought. For regulated data, that trade is often worth making.

Hybrid

The common real-world answer: regulated or core data stays on your own infrastructure, while collaboration, testing and burst capacity run in public cloud.

It is the most complex to design and the easiest to get wrong, because the boundary between the two is where problems hide. Getting that boundary right is most of the work.

What we host

The cloud product set

Business applications, cloud-delivered security, and the hosting and operations underneath them. Every application here runs either in our cloud or on your own servers, because that choice should be yours rather than a licensing accident, and every one can be covered by a 24/7/365 support agreement.

Business applications, hosted for you

The nine applications TecFlax implements, available as a hosted service so you get the software without running the servers. Each links through to the full detail on our Applications pages.

Mail and collaboration

Zimbra Cloud

Enterprise email, calendar and collaboration, hosted and administered by a Zimbra partner. Mail, domain and SSL certificate can all come from one place, on one renewal calendar.

Database

Oracle MySQL Enterprise

MySQL Enterprise Edition run as a managed cloud database, with Enterprise Monitor, backup, high availability and replication configured rather than left at defaults.

ERP and CRM

Bitrix24

ERP and CRM covering sales pipeline, tasks, documents and internal communication, hosted for you or installed on your own servers if the customer data has to stay there.

CRMERPTasksCollaboration

Business intelligence

Pentaho BI

Business intelligence and data integration: ad-hoc analysis, dashboards, enterprise reporting, embedded analytics and big data, with multicloud support built into the platform.

Project management

Easy8

Project management hosted as a service, so project data is reachable from anywhere without your team maintaining another server.

ProjectsPlanningResourcing

Document management

LogicalDOC

Document management with audit trail, workflow, agenda manager, capture and distribution. Hosted delivery suits organisations that need document control without a records server of their own.

Video conferencing

Jitsi Meet

Self-hostable video conferencing, run on your own domain rather than a third-party meeting service, which keeps meeting data and branding under your control.

Asset management

Snipe-IT

IT asset management: what you own, who has it, what it cost and when its warranty expires. Hosted so the asset register survives the laptop it used to live on.

Attendance and visitors

NCheck

Biometric attendance and visitor management from Neurotechnology, with the recognition running on site and reporting reachable in the cloud.

Security, delivered from the cloud

Email, web and endpoint protection delivered as cloud services. Each of these filters threats before they reach your network, which is work far better done upstream of your own perimeter than at it.

Email security

SpamTitan

An email security gateway that filters spam, phishing and malware before delivery, using threat intelligence and real-time URL checking. Runs as a cloud service or on your own premises.

Web security

WebTitan

DNS-layer web filtering: threats and unwanted content are blocked at name resolution, before a connection is ever made. It protects users wherever they are, not only behind the office firewall.

Endpoint security

WatchGuard

Endpoint protection and EDR, managed from a cloud console so laptops are covered whether they are in the office or not. WatchGuard also supplies the Firebox firewall line.

Hosting, backup and operations

The platform underneath everything above, and the people who keep it running once it is live.

Hosting

Website and domain hosting

Web hosting with domain registration and SSL certificates handled together, so a site, its name and its certificate are not three separate problems with three separate renewal dates.

Backup

Cloud backup and recovery

Offsite backup for servers, virtual machines and laptops, with restores actually tested rather than assumed. A backup nobody has restored from is a hope, not a backup.

Managed service

Managed cloud operations

Someone on the other end of the alert. Monitoring, patching, incident response, capacity review and change work under a 24/7/365 SLA, so your team stops being the escalation path of last resort.

How it runs

Moving to the cloud, in four stages

STEP 1

Assess

We inventory what you run today, what it depends on, and what it actually costs you. Migrations fail on the dependency nobody documented, so this stage is not a formality.

STEP 2

Design

We agree the model, public, private or hybrid, and decide explicitly where each class of data will live. Data residency is settled here, in writing, not discovered later.

STEP 3

Migrate

We move in stages, smallest risk first, with a tested rollback at every step. Nothing is switched over until its replacement has been proven with your own data.

STEP 4

Operate

Once live, the platform is monitored and supported under a 24/7/365 SLA, with patching, backups and capacity reviews as part of the agreement rather than as extras.

Hosted does not mean unattended

Every product on this page can be covered by a 24/7/365 SLA support and maintenance agreement: monitoring, incident response, configuration changes, patching and platform updates, remote or on site.

The point of moving to the cloud is to stop your team firefighting infrastructure. That only works if somebody else is genuinely on the other end of the alert.

Tell us what you are running now

Whether you are moving off ageing servers, consolidating three systems, or just want a straight answer on whether cloud is right for you, our engineers will come back with a practical proposal.
