Software is not finished when it ships
Most of a system’s life happens after go-live: the integration that changes, the regulation that moves, the report somebody needs next quarter. Every build on this page can be covered by a 24/7/365 SLA support and maintenance agreement, so there is a named route back to the people who wrote it.
Where you would rather your own team took it on, that is the better outcome and we plan for it. Handover means the repository, the deployment steps, the documentation and enough time for questions.
Built by a team that also has to run it
Plenty of firms will write you an application. Fewer are still reachable when it is slow at month end, when a certificate expires, or when a payment provider changes an API without much warning.
TecFlax builds software inside a company that also designs infrastructure, runs cloud platforms, monitors production services and does the security work. That changes the software. Deployment, backup, capacity and failure get considered while those decisions are still cheap to change, because the people making them are the people who will be called.
It also changes the advice. We are not paid more for building something larger, so where a configured product would do the job, or an integration would solve it without a new system, that is what you will hear.
Our engineers work across Java, C#, C++, PHP and the mainstream mobile platforms, and have built and customised inventory systems, real time applications, voting systems and payroll systems. Where a content management system is the right foundation, we develop on WordPress, Joomla and Laravel rather than rebuilding what they already do well.
