Managed cloud operations

Monitoring, patching, incident response and change work under a 24/7/365 SLA, so your team is not the escalation path of last resort.

What this covers

Moving to the cloud does not remove operational work; it changes who does it. If the answer is still your two-person IT team, then the main thing that has changed is the invoice.

Managed operations means we run the platform: monitoring with alerts that reach an engineer rather than an empty dashboard, patching on an agreed schedule, incident response with defined severities and response times, configuration and change work, and capacity reviews before you run out rather than after.

Everything is against an agreed service level, and we would rather write a realistic one than an impressive one. A response target nobody can meet at three in the morning helps neither of us, and you will find out which it was at the worst possible moment.

What’s included

  • Monitoring and alerting, with alerts routed to a person
  • Patching and platform updates on an agreed schedule
  • Incident response with defined severities and response times
  • Configuration and change requests
  • Capacity and cost reviews
  • Backup verification and restore testing
  • Regular service reporting you will actually read
  • On-site or remote attendance as the agreement defines
What we monitor and how is covered under Monitoring & Observability; the platform work itself sits under Infrastructure.
Available in our cloud or on your own infrastructure, and can be covered by a 24/7/365 SLA support and maintenance agreement covering monitoring, incident response, configuration changes and platform updates.
